Photographer’s Note
Following good comments I've re-worked this photo - adding extra contrast and straightening the photo making what I think is a significant improvement.
Original comment:
A fascinating city - Rouen. Lots of great timber framed buildings, a decent art gallery and the famous cathedral of Monet fame.
We were there on an overcast day and also discovered one of the problems of Rouen (pickpockets!).
Wandering through the old part of town we came across the Aitre St Maclou - once medieval (16th century) "plaque" cemetery. These days it is an arts school and popular for school excursions. Around the courtyard were groups of children immersed in their art.
The day was so bleak that I decided to post this photo as a B&W. I hope that it works (This is my first B&W posting).

Hello Ian,
Postprocessing and good choice of the color excel. Framing is descriptive, the place is interesting. Thank you for the note. Cheer.
Have a nice sunday.
Cordially.

Ce noir et blanc est bien vu. Ls enfants dessinant sur les marches donnent un petit air romantique et très années 20.

Hi Ian,
Nice use of B&W. I like how you have grabbed the depth here; I really thought for a second it was an actual real & old B&W (if you know what I mean). Informative note - thanks.
Cheers,
Graham.
