Photographer’s Note

From the village of Beli I've shown already an overview. This wonderful place in its fantastic setting on a hilltop lies on the mortheastern side of the island Cres and is the last inhabitat village of this part of the island.
The interior of the village is only reachable by foot and is very well maintained. It contains narrow alleys and small squares and a lot of old houses.

so you were in crotia this summer! i was there last week (dubrovnik in particular), for a second time in my life. we even had a small meeting with isabela_sor and her family. beautiful country isn't it? :)

A very attractive composition of this lovely square. The flower troughs in the foreground add some nice splashes of colour. Good colour contrasts with excellent clarity.

I love walking through thesse villages with the narrow streets. However it makes you wonder how long people will live there when they can't reach it by car. it looks beautiful and very well kept. The colours and light are both good.
