Photographer’s Note
This summer weather in Japan seems to have changed to tropical monsoon climate from temperate climate. Weather forecasting is almost uncertain, and the July actual sunshine duration was the shortest ever.
We, however, had fortunately a fine weather on last Saturday, I went cycling to the neighborhood. A small path where a bicycle can narrowly go through goes down to the shore.
It was sorry that Mt. Fuji was not able to be seen on this day, though it would be seen at the middle of the image on a clear day.

Beautiful shot here Yuya-san. The colour of the water is spectacular, and I like the greens highlighting the path. Indeed, with Fuji-san in the background it would be even more impressive. But still a beautiful shot.

Hi Hisashi
That's a striking image with a good composition. I love the natural framing of the vegetation, the sun playing in the transparency of the leaves. I love the bright colors, specially those of the ocean, the intensity of the contrasts, the detail of the little pink flower in the foreground. I find excellent this perspective: that's a clever choice of POV, with this small path that leads to the cape. And, all in all, I am very agreeably surprised, because I would never have associated this picture, that looks so tropical, to Japan! So, it makes me discover a side of your country that I completely ignored; thank you!
Congratulations

Hello Hisashi,
I was first not thinking the shot was taken in Japan, but more in Hawaii or other similar islands. It seems I am not knowing so well Japan :-)
Thanks for the map link evidencing were this shot was taken.
Nice composition with the small track, parallel to the shore driving the look to the horizon and the blue tones of sky and sea.
The piece of vegetation falling from top is perfect to balance the composition and fills the corner. It leads there also again the look on the track.
Nice job,
Yves.

Hi Hisashi,
Feeling is indeed tropical. What a change to your cityscapes. I guess this tranquility is sort of illusion, with streets and buildoings not so far away.
Vertical framing fits well. That flower on the corner is a nice detail.

Hi Hisashi, I can't believe this is Japan, it looks like Fiji or some Pacific paradise. You have managed the tricky light conditions perfectly, everything is really well-exposed. And your DOF is amazing. Excellent work, as is your usual. TFS, Lisa.

Hisashi,
This is a well composed shot of this beach scene. The path leads the eye into the shot nicely directing our attention to the beach in the distance. The overhanging trees frame the scene nicely. The lighting and colors are fine with excellent sharpness and detail.

hello Hisashi,
the curve of the vegetation on the right looks almost like a wave curling around the narrow path, I really like the tunnel effect it creates. the contrasts between light and dark shadows on the leaves is beautiful, for some reason reminds me of Japanese drawings where just one line can create a whole concept. fascinating shot, I like it a lot.
best,
Kristine

Hello Hisashi,
Very beautiful place to go cycling and it really looks quite there. The picture is well composed with the path going down to the sea and this under the overhanging branches. This is a beautiful and colourful nature picture and I think it shows us a part of Japan many of us don't know.
You write that on a clear day Mount Fuji can be seen from that POV. All pictures I've ever seen of Mount Fuji looked so very different from this one. I mean the landscapes. I'd really like to see the mountain on a picture together with such a sunny and bright coastline.
Best regards, Paul

Hi Hisashi
After you have told me about the typhoon and what I have seen in the news on TV, this view look very quiet and relaxing, a luminous summer day. The water color is paradisiac. Hope things got better in Japan in the meantime
Have a nice day jY

Hi, Hisashi. I like the nice saturated colours in your picture. The composition is very good too with the path leading the eye towards the sea and the horizon. The leaves on the left give a good depth to the image. And you really feel like cycling there when you see thi!s nice little path.
Have a nice weekend,

Hello Hisashi,
A fine composition with very well saturated colours, balancing on the edge of being overdone, but still on the right side. The narrow path looks very tempting and the sea looks really inviting. There is a little pink flower in the lower right corner that I like very much. It's so small, still it is quite important to the composition, in my opinion.

Hello Hisashi,
beuatiful and charming shot, great use of the trail to lead the viewers in and down to the seashore. the canopy of trees frame the scenery perfectly. The shadow seem a bit dark, but it certainly bring out the contrast and rich colors. the vertical format sure give great depth and distance to the landscape. I love the rich deep blue of the sky by using the filter.
Beautiful shot, my complements.
