Photographer’s Note

The island of Cres is teh second largest of the Dalmatian islands and inhabited by not more that 4000 people. The northern part of the island af Cres is except for Beli almost inhabited.
Nature rules and in thick forests with oak and chesnutt trees dwell roe deer and wild boars. Above the trees fly the mighty griffon vultures of which there are 70 pairs breeding on the island.
Sheep you can see everywhere and at its best in the deserted little village like here in Niska.
