Photographer’s Note
The sea mist shrouded the water and just touched on the coast. Please check out the TWO work shops; the weather cleared a few moments later.

Hi Greg,
Little has changed in the month since I was here last.
You show the reason why these beacons are still in need.
If the sun ever comes out this is a great spot to catch brilliant sun sets.
I rerally do like the brooding quality of the misty fog.

Hello Greg,
I like this kind of weather and photos because they are sharing a strong ambiance. On this shot for example there is the light in the lighthouse and in background we can only guessed the sea lost in the clouds.
Just for detail and if you did not notice, there is a stain on the middle left border. A cleaning of the sensor is perhaps needed.
Yves.

ciao greg,
la nebbia crea un'atmosfera particolare intorno al faro che tu ben hai riportato.
Tonalità grigie che impreziosiscono la foto.

Hello Greg,
It is a relief to see a foggy scenery for once, hehehe!
The atmosphere is well recorded, with the tad of mystery that always is present in a foggy landscape...
The subject is well framed with an eye-catching diagonal!

Hello Greg! Tom (gunbud) knows my story of this coastline and that we drove along in deep deep fog without seeing anything at ALL :))) For more than two days I guess it was but I heard the fog horn a lot and everything felt moist, even the linen in the motel. LOL. Great shot this one, love the light in the glass house, helping us out when we are lost. Actually I love fog somehow, it has something so inside that I like. Love your photo ... so much Maine ... Barbara.

hi Greg,
I like this shot a lot, I've always felt that lighthouses have that "at the end of the world" feeling, and here the mist nicely emphasises that the world's edge is right by the lighthouse. goot use of the diagonal to lead the eye right into the gray mist. great moody shot, I like it.
best,
Kristine

Hello Greg,
I like the murky colors caused by the mist and the faint light. The foot-bridge makes a nice diagonal across to the lighthouse, which even at this close range is barely visible against the thick greyness. The boy (?) walking among the rocks is a nice sign of life.
Kind regards,
Gert

Hi Greg. Was the fog horn going ;-). Light houses always seem to capture the imagination and the misty conditions add a little mystery to the scene as well. Well composed, the path is a great lead-in and having it angled adds dynamism to the scene also. Nice photo and thanks for sharing.
Cheers, Paul.

Greg,
The mist, the mist - yes, I like a good misty view such as this - and isn't that some other photographer on the prowl, down there on the rocks?
Downside! As per Sevy - the blobs on the left of frame could have been removed. Never mind.
Cheers

Hello Greg,
An image full of athmosperh with this lighthouse in the mist. A very well balalnced composition too with this wood's way and this barrier which invite to discovery. Very original and good photowork.

Hello Greg,
Oh, the mist creates such a brooding atmosphere; almost a feeling of foreboding, with the light signalling danger and no obvious recipient of the warning!
Excellent composition with the bridge leading to the slightly off-centre focal image from the b/l/h corner.
There is enough detail to engage the viewer and set the context ... before the panic sets in!!
Have a great w/e,
Bev :-)

Hello Greg.
This shot has a great mood, with the lighthouse almost vanishing in the mist, and a great depth. The human figure on the right is well-placed too.
Best regards.

Hello Greg,
I'm again at home for a short while, so I was curious to see the recent posts...
This one stroke me for its immediate beauty and atmosphere. A simple composition but very evocative. You exploited well those peculiar weather conditions.

Hi Greg,
I totally agree to all the other comments, fog creates a fantastic atmosphere and this is the proof. You have captured such a tight atmosphere that I can even hear the fog horn. Great management of the light! TFS!

Hello Greg,
I like photos taken in mist, fog and all sorts of suchlike weather conditions! They are so atmospheric and often give food for thought. In any case, they always convey a special, a bit mysterious or sad, mood :)
This looks like a scene from a thriller or fantastic movie!
Great capture :)

Hi Greg!
You are truly amazing. This is an awesome shot. I love how everything vanishes beyond the lighthouse. I've been thinking about capturing a fog shot this fall. As the temps cool, I hope to get one.
I've had a couple photos pulled from my sight. I'll learn, but it'll take a couple days to get caught up.
Thanks again for all your help!!!!! A Master teaches and a wise man learns.

Hi Greg, lighthouses are always interesting place to take a picture, but in this one I think you had made a great work with the fog and the soft light from the lighthouse, I really like the atmosphere around.
Best regards, maybe next trip to north America will take me to the east coast, my brother lives in Montreal, not really far from places like this one.

Hi Greg,
I like this mystic image, the fog dense but still enough visibility for you to capture a fainted details of it. Looks like a natural gas light, and a fairly small and cute light. the bridge is a good lead in guide. the foreground vegetations adds depth and frame the bottom part of the frame nicely. I hope to have seen you include even more of the vegetation than just the top of it. That just my preference, I like to have somekind of plant in the foreground for my landscape shot. Thanks Greg, I hope you feel better and inspire to go out and get some nice autumn colors shots.

Probably this is how should look the end of the world if the Earth wouldn't be round :-)
Nice how the small bridge is leading the eye in the centre of the picture and how the red and green grass is poping out from this all mist scene.

Hi Greg
Nicely captured! Something about fog that is so mysterious. I wanted to view the workshop with the clear weather but didn't know how...
Thanks
