Moorea Overwater Bungalows Photo

Photographer’s Note

These bungalows are at the Intercontentinal Moorea. We were lucky enough to get Tahiti as a free stopover on the way back from Australia. A 30 minute ferry across to the island of Moorea, then a 30 minute taxi ride to the north side of this island, and here we were!

The lagoon was a great place to snorkel. If you look closely in the fg you cna see some coral and even some small fish.

Hello Mike.
Wonderful shot, in which you have captured a beautiful tropical light, without over-exposing the highlights and retaining the deepness of colour in the water and sky. Lovely reflection. I like the way you allowed the shallow water to fill so much of the foreground, and placed the horizon fairly high in the frame.

I like the picturesque design of the bungalows, pure pleasure to wake up and have breakfast on the balcony!
The beautiful morning light renders great colours, sharp fine details...

Hi Mike,
This location looks extremely relaxed. The houses on the poles are very much inviting for a stay as is the water to swim in. Nice reflections as well.
