Photographer’s Note

I just thought the sky looks promissing today- But then a fat dark cloud came moving alon the trace of the setting sun - so, sorry no sunset today!
At this place there is normally a sandy cay during the summer months and you can walk on a large island in the middle of the Rhine - this year with all the heavy rainfalls we see for 3 weeks now the Rhine is flooding like it used to do at the beginning of spring, when the snow is melting in the alps. The only hint that there ocne was an island are the tips of some softwood trees looking out of the water.

Hallo Thomas,

habe garnicht mitbekommen, das der Rhein derzeit soviel Wasser mit sich führt.. interessanter Blick und auch ohne Sonnenuntergang im klassischen Sinne sehr sehenswert..
