Photographer’s Note
t feels out of place.
Deep within the steep tropical rainforest hills of Bukit Tinggi, on a hillside of a pine forest sits a one street medieval French village.
The village even has a moat and a drawbridge much like that of medieval villages and castles seen standing on the hills of a French countryside during the Middle Ages, with its half-timbered houses, brightly colored facades and ornate wooden articles.
Colmar Tropicale is a French themed resort, modeled from Colmar, a historical French village and practically a historical museum in Alsace, France. While the real Colmar in Alsace retained much of its Middle Ages and Renaissance inheritances, Colmar Tropicale of Bukit Tinggi is a novelty and "fresh". While just about everything inside the village or along the main street looks "Frenchy", this is one French village where no Frenchman is going to be put off with you for speaking in either English or Malay when asking for anything. Though, you might like not to ask anything in French ici s'il vous plait. The garcons here, speak French petit plus.

Funny! A sort of Las Vegas in Malaysia??? Instead of reproducing Tour Eiffel... a village!
People are crazy sometimes.
I like your shot, no problems with wide angle len.
