"What Does the Woman from Bahia have?" (Portuguese:) "O Que é que a Baiana Tem?" is an old song that helped launch the brazilian songer Carmen Miranda colourful Hollywood career and went on to become one of the unofficial anthems of Brazil's north-east. Here.

Nowadays we would have to add that they have beautiful bodies too. :-)

Espetacular Paulo!!!
Você colocou na categoria "vida diária", mas a "natureza" mostrou ser pródiga...rs...rs...rs
O pessoal lá fora deve ficar extasiado com os contornos. E olha que daqui eu não vi nenhuma celulite.
Fora isso "consegui" ver também detalhes interessantes como a divisa de tons da água do mar e o curioso banana boat preparando para decolar.

Well, it is slightly voyeuristic and has little to show, except of course for the well rounded behind. I bet the owner of the attraction point did not specifically agree with the picture being taken. There is no question in my mind that the women in the green bikini could be a model for some excellent shots, but this one clearly fails to hit the mark, in my opinion. Artistically it is week, and so is its informational content.

Ao fim e ao cabo temos aqui uma homenagem indireta a Maria do Carmo (Carmen Miranda), nascida em Portugal há precisamente 100 anos (com dia de aniversário igual ao meu).
A música (e esta foto) também podia ser "O que é que a brasileira tem?" Ontem recebi uma foto por email em que o presidente Obama e o presidente Sarkozy parecem fazer a mesma pergunta ;-)

Seriously?? I'm sorry, I don't see anything right in this picture in terms of technicalities, subject or good taste...Worst of all, it is much too sneaky and irrespectful to my taste. I even suspect the use of a noise reducer program, which would be a pity.
I guess I still have much things to learn...

Hi Paulo,

Although I can’t deny that my eye was at first captured by the brown body with the small green ropes, I think the real value of this picture is its beautiful composition with the two contrasting figures in front and fascinating heads behind the sand dune and the boat leaving the place full of people who can’t endure all that almost naked bodies any longer.

Hello Paulo, The Woman From Bahia looks like she has a beautiful sun tanned body and green swimsuit, I'm sure she also has some very good qualities but from your very colourful photo we can only imagine that. I like the contrast between the two ladies, excellent quality as always. Bravo.
