Photographer’s Note

Just around the corner from the square with the statue the St. George and Dragon in my previous post there is this small triangular square called Brända Tomten. I have uploaded a photo from it taken in late March here. You can read information on the square in the note of that photo. Now, when I returned to the square in summer, it indeed looked different in warm summer light, with the green tree and filled with tourists.

In WS you can see another view from the same square, taken a few minutes earlier. There you can see the ivy mentioned in the note of that earlier photo.

No wonder this tiny square is the favourite square of many Stockholm Gamla Stan visitors. It is also said to be the one, which among all Stockholm squares resembles an Italian piazza the most.
