Photographer’s Note
History of Hustinskiy Monastery (it is located in village of Hustin near town of Priluki) begins in 1600. The place where it was founded was covered by thick forest. “Hustiy” means “Thick” in Ukrainian. In 1626 and 1636 the monastery was destroyed by fires. In 1637 the first new church (Uspenska or Voskresenska, it has the blue roof now, please see the picture) was built. In 1644 Troitska (the Trinity) church (the second from the right in the picture) was erected. After another big fire it was rebuilt in 1675. In the end of XVII century two new churches at the entries to the monastery were built, Mikolayivska (in the left) and Petropavlivska (in the right). In the Soviet times the monastery was closed. There were hostels and hospitals in its buildings. In 1993 the monastery was reopened and its reconstruction began. Now the monastery looks very well, but the reconstruction goes on.

Hi Sergiy Lushpenko,
This is a very beautiful architecture you have captured beautifully. I think that this is a side pose of the building. Nice photo. Congrats.
With regards.

Zdravo Sergiy. So many churches concentrated in one area? Either the faithful are numerous and extremely pious or it must have been a status thing. It is a beautiful looking place filled with graceful domes. Wonderful colours under a blue sky. Na Hrvatskom jeziku mi kazemo gusti za vas hustiy. Regards. Klaudio.

Hi Sergiy,
Great presentation.
I really like the architecture. It is so unique and colorful.
At first sight I thought that you included to much sky and that cutting it to a panorama would be beneficial, but now I see that the sky is pretty too so leaving it as it is makes sens,

Hi Sergiy,
what a wondeful architecture. This very different than anything we see in Brazil. I like your choice for making the sky present in the compo. Great job!

Ciao dear Sergiy,
even if in Italy this architectural style doesn't exist, I appreciate a lot to see these churches with the colored domes in perfect style of East Europe. Above all when the photos are done with this excellent photographic quality. Compliments!
Ciao, have a nice w.e.!

Hi Sergiy,
At first I thought that it was the same place of your previous post. It reminds an illustration of a children's stories book. The architecture is very, very charming and you show that effectively, aided by the good light. I like the look at it, but nevertheless I think that you could have done better with the compo. I guess that you wanted to show all the towers, but I don't like much the excessive proximity from the border of the tower on the left and the building on the right.
Regards,
José
