Photographer’s Note

Work again on board Statsraad Lehmkuhl in 1993, and this time for the most usual work performed by the basic trainee (like me) on board: pulling some ropes!
Here the current watch is bracing (pulling on the braces) of some yards, probably of the foremast because they are on the main deck. I have also posted the mast here.
Since the Lehmkuhl is quite a big ship (about 98 meters long if I remember correctly), it makes plenty of people pulling.

Bonsoir Emmanuel,

Le scan est excellent et ce n'est jamais un travail facile. Une scène superbement captée, on sent l'effort colcetif. En plus les vêtements des marins apportent de belles touches de couleurs. POV et cadrage excellents également.
