This is the old 'Swatow Lodging House' along the Armenian Street located in the Penang Heritage Enclave.

With modern lodging facilities available, these places are dying together with their owners.

The bike parked in front adds some feel to the 'heritage look' of the photo even though I feel that a trishaw would be better.

Hello YahWen,

It's always great to see a Penang heritage picture, as Georgetown is one of my favourite places in the world. Just hanging around there is a treat, I absolutely adore these old 'Chinese' houses. And I like this capture, the desaturated look adds to the old-time feel of this picture and I don't mind the motorcycle. Perhaps a cyclo would have been a bit too much!

And now I think it's time for a kopi-o! Cheers.
