"Garden of merging water" Photo

Photographer’s Note

Yesterday I showed you some Korean totem poles from "Gärten der Welt" (= gardens of the world) a wonderful, spectacular and really well-kept park in Marzahn, a district of Berlin in the very east of the city. There you can see amongst others an Italian Renaissance garden, a Balinese garden, a Japanese garden, an oriental garden, a Chinese garden - all with impressive and original buildings of these regions. There's also a great labyrinth planted out of yew trees and several restaurants. More gardens with special themes currently are planned .

Here I show you a part of the Japanese garden, a self-enclosed garden world with a pavilion, ponds, waterscapes, dry garden, and imposing stone installations. It displays typical Japanese plants, like Japanese maple, Japanese flowering dogwoods or Japanese lavender.

Hello Frank,
A great capture of this fascinating garden, which verges on an abstract composition. A well chosen point of view which brings a sense of dynamism to the composition. Good natural looking colours and excellent sharpness. Useful accompanying note.

Bonjour, cher ami Frank,
L'art paysager est remarquablement mis en valeur à travers cette composition. Et dire que j'ai le malheur de me plaindre en faisant mon jardin ! ;.)
Que doivent dire les jardiniers pour obtenir un tel résultat.

Diese Schlichtheit der japanischen Gärten sit schon faszinierend. Was am Wochende im koreanischen Garten in Frankfurt, die sind viel verspielter und haben wesentlich mehr Pflanzen. Sehr schöne Aufnahme

Hallo Frank. Vielen Dank für Dein ausführliches Posting, inklusive der beiden Workshop-Bilder. Dieses ist in der Tat ein Anblick, wie er sich auch dem Japan-Besucher vor Ort des Öfteren bietet. Das Foto beinhaltet einen guten graphischen Aspekt, und einen schönen Kontrast zwischen dem akkurat angeordneten Kies und der grünen Bepflanzung. Wie es aussieht, lohnt es sich, diesen Ort für einen zukünfigen Besuch in Berlin vorzumerken. Danke, und schönes Wochenende!

Hallo Frank,

ein sehr schöner TE-Beitrag: alle drei Bilder ergänzen sich prächtig und zusammen mit der Beschreibung machen sie einen Besuch dieser Gärten sehr einladend ... wenns's nicht so weit weg wär ;-)

un beau jardin que tu nous présentes ici et qui est bien entretenu à ce que je vois, un hommage aux jardiniers en passant
c'est vrai comme le dit Philippe que l'on reconnait bien là un art paysager

Fine colours and a very fine composition with the carefully raked gravel. The resemblance of water is quite obvious.
