Photographer’s Note
Peynier from afar.
We are looking across the Vallee de l’Arc from the Cengle- a ridge just south of the Montagne Sainte Victoire. Peynier (slightly to the right of center in this photo) is situated at the base of the Chaine du Regagnas. The next ridge is the Massif Sainte Baume. Beyond that is Marseilles.
The name Peynier comes from “puits noir” or “black mountain."
Please see Workshops for 'close-ups' taken with zoom at 200mm and another with an adapted fieldscope.

Hi Randy,
I discover that you posted some photos since my last visit on your gallery!
How are you! Back to the States?
Nice and simple view over Peyniers. We deeply appreciated being there! But... where is the swimming pool? ;-)
Merci Mady pour les quelques photos que tu as prises :-) J'ai apprécié!
See you soon on TE (I will come back in a few days)
Marianne
