Kastro
The village has an ellipsoid shape, because of the morphology of the ground it was built. It's character is defensive and maintains the Medieval form. We can easily see two defensive rings in the western side and in the exterior ring we meet several small houses. In the center we will find the Latin Cathedral and a column with the sign of Da Koronia from the 14th century. Kastro was the capital of the island during the Ancient and the Medieval period (until 1836). The main sites you can visit in the village are the Archaeological museum and the church of Eftamartyres. Don't miss the unique view to the sea from the pathway, an extraordinary experience you won't forget!

This is a great night shot with a fine moon. Your composition is fine using the slope of the buildings and shoreline to create a diagonal through the shot. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail.
