Photographer’s Note

Zaanstad is a conglommeration of towns and villages on the north side of Amsterdam on both sides of the River the Zaan where in the 17th century a industrial area developped.
Westzaan is a long village but very thin. It is a agricultural villge on the edge of Zaanstad.

Hallo Gerrit,
Een heel mooie kleurencompositie. Vooral de kleuren in het kanaal zijn prachtig.
Heel leuk is ook dat de vervorming van de reflectie van het huis en vooral zijn puntgevel in het water voor een andere architecturale stijl zorgen.

That's a magnificent picture!
Sharpness, exposure and depth of field are all excellent! I really love all the colors and lights the fill up the whole image so wonderfully! The pov was very well chosen too and you cleverly composed this image creating a very attractive and beautiful photograph! The reflection is a true highlight here!

Deze dikke vette kleuren kunnen mijn goedstemming wel krijgen. Vooral het groen knalt hier mijn scherm binnen en ziet er prachtig uit. De donkere tinten van het water en het perspectief daarin vind ik tevens de kracht van deze foto...prima werk.

Hallo, Gerrit. Die houten huizen aan de rechterkant zijn echt mooi en hun lichtgekleurde gevels staan goed uit op het donkere water van het kanaal. Het kanaal creëert een zeer goed perspectief met een molen aan het einde. Zeer mooie lentekleuren en uitstekende contrasten.
