Photographer’s Note
Marinette County, Wisconsin has some of the finest whitewater in the midwestern United States, and a scenic collection of waterfalls. Yesterday, I had the chance to visit several, and this showing is a first installment in sharing that trek.
Veteran's Falls are located in Veteran's Memorial Park, near Athelstane on the Parkway Road out of Crivitz. This park on the Thunder River was developed by the American Legion and other civic organizations. I went for the establishing shot here, with the footbridge over a waterfall. The reflecting pool at the bottom of the falls is said to be fine trout habitat.

Hi Jim
A tranquil locale for sure! Good framing on the cascades, & superb sharpness, with attractive pastel colors & excellent lighting contrasts & shadow detail. Tfs!

Hello Jim,
nice and beautiful this snapshot of the river with the wooden bridge and the cascade in it.I like the density of the trees in both sides of the river as the calmly and the tranquillity of the scene.Well done.
Have a nice week,Danos

Hello Jim
A good landscape with a center-placed bridge, a tiny waterfall and some tall pines.
Best regards.
Bobo.
