Benedict Arnold est un général de l'Armée continentale durant la guerre d'indépendance des États-Unis d'Amérique. Il est surtout connu pour avoir trahi les États-Unis et voulu livrer le fort américain de West Point aux Anglais durant la guerre d’Indépendance. Il est peut-être le traître le plus connu de l'histoire des États-Unis.

Sur la photo, un auberge qui porte son nom.

Benedict Arnold was a general during the American Revolutionary War who originally fought for the American Continental Army but switched sides to the British Empire. As a general still on the American side, he obtained command of the fort at West Point, New York, and attempted unsuccessfully to surrender it to the British. After the plot failed, he served with British forces as a Loyalist.

On the photo, the inn bears his name.

Bonjour Denis,

La prise de vue permet de voir deux côtés de l'auberge. elle permet aussi de voir les détails et les couleurs de l'architecture de l'auberge. L'image est claire et précise. La luminosité met en valeur les couleurs de l'image. Bon dimanche.

This is a well composed shot of this famous building. The angle of the shot is great giving the scene a sense of depth and direction. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail. The sky is great and provides nice contrast for the brightly colored building.

Hi Denis,

Nice colorful building with yellow,green and white and soft sunlight hitting it. Good lighting control the building really stands out against the blue sky. Excellent sharpness and clarity Denis.

Lively clear colors here with excellent sharp details to this mustard colored inn.
Wonderful lighting and lovely contrast blue sky backdrop.
At the Battle of Saratoga Gen. Arnold lost part of his foot and there is a statue of a boot without an inscription because of his changing sides.

Très belle cette architecture traditionnelle en bois avec son intense couleur jaune est un grand contraste avec le ciel.
Excellent cadrage et de lumière et de grands détails.

A very charming inn, specially with that gorgeous sun, that makes its yellow walls contrast very nicely with the blue sky. As usual, you were clever choosing the POV and the tight framing. It's a catchy photo and a good presentation of the house. I guess the owners don't care much for attracting US guests. :D
