PLITVICE, parc naturel national depuis 1949 et inscrit en 1979 au Patrimoine mondial de l'humanité est une merveille de la nature. La rivière Korana traverse une région calcaire où elle a bâti seize lacs qui communiquent par des cascades (la plus haute fait 72 m). L'écosystème est très fragile mais très bien protégé. Le visiteur doit suivre les sentiers aménagés pour respecter le site. Voir Plitvice

"The Plitvice Lakes lie in a basin of karstic rock, mainly dolomite and limestone, which has given rise to their most distinctive feature. The lakes are separated by natural dams of travertine, which is deposited by the action of moss, algae and bacteria. The encrusted plants and bacteria accumulate on top of each other, forming travertine barriers which grow at the rate of about 1 cm per year.

The lakes are renowned for their distinctive colours, ranging from azure to green, grey or blue. The colours change constantly depending on the quantity of minerals or organisms in the water and the angle of sunlight."

Un très bon cliché de cette superbe nature et une bonne prise de ces cascades. On a l'impression de voir l'eau couler.

Bonjour Jacques ,
Une vignette qui mérite d'être ouverte . On peut y apprécier , malgré l'éclairage assez faible , mais finalement bien rendu , les superbes cascades qui jaillissent dans tous les sens . L'aspect de l'eau (je n'aime pas trop quand , avec une pause longue , c'est exagéré) est très agréable . Les feuilles en haut complètent bien la composition .

Hello Jacques,

Un très joli coin. Très sauvage apparement. Une petite dominante verte colore quelque peu l'eau. Sinon, j'ai l'impression d'être un renard venant boire à la source.

This is a picturesque scene from the old forest!
The waterfall adds life to the place, and the point of view works well to expose the place at its best...

Ta photo Balade des ancetres est superbe et merite mon attention, Jacques. Je reste ici devant ce spectacle de Plitvice qui bouillonne mes emotions pour la Yougoslavie. Tu as eu de la chance d'y passer.
