some kind of food popular at night.

it is basically bowels of lamb cooked with hot spices, there is a specific style on streets for this food. on the street it is usually served like sandwich. the man in the BG is eating kokorec.

because life is captured here.
Partly desaturation and smoky noise works really well here.

The nervous expression on the face of the boy is shocking.

Hi Omer,

I liked the photo better before I knew what he was cooking. :) He should cook kofte instead.

You caught his face at the right moment, as well as the man eating the "treat". There's also a great vampire looking face in the background.

I'm pleased you didn't try to clean up the gritty look.
