Photographer’s Note

Comme les modérateurs ne semblent pas avoir goûté ma tulipe du week-end passé, je vais revenir vers une image plus conventionnelle pour TE. Il s'agit du Linleu (2093m). La photo a été prise du col de Salvalène (1867m). La descente du côté suisse (donc nord-est) fut quelque peu laborieuse parmi les résidus d'avalanches et la boue qui rendait le terrain glissant au possible.

Since the moderators do not seem to have enjoyed my tulip of last weekend, I will go back to a more conventional picture for TE. This is the Linleu (2093m). The photo was taken at the Salvalène pass (1867m). Going down on the Swiss side (thus northeast) was laborious among the residues of avalanches and the slippery mud.

Hi Chris,

This is nice, i love the crop and framing and the way you present it with that black border. The ridge of snow leads us to the high peak which has perfect rendering and structure.
Very good piece of work....excellent.
