Photographer’s Note

That's the famous and reconstructed Trakai Island Castle. the village Trakai is a historic place and lake resort in Lithuania (about 28 km west of Vilnius) and was first mentioned in Teutonic Knights chronicles in 1337. the castle was build between XIV–XV century by Kestutis, a monarch of medieval Lithuania. I visited the place in early April, the whole lake was still covered by ice what brought a magnificent view all over the area.

Great shot of this fine castle. Your composition is fine using the bridge to lead the eye into the shot. The inclusion of the marsh grass in the foreground adds nice depth to the scene. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail.

Colors are beautiful with the combiation of blue and reds. The comosition is very well done with the bridge leading us through the picture.

Wow, the colors and overall quality of the shot are amazing. The sharpness is just right...everything feels like you're there but at the same time it doesn't seem too sharp. I might have perhaps tried to move the castle a bit more off center by including more of the wooden bridge and less of the sky on the left but that's just my personal taste.
