Playing during New Year Photo

Photographer’s Note

I went to join Laotian new year in Amarillo, Texas. Amarillo has huge number of Laotians in the States. We celebrate similar ceremony and other plays. For example, we use water gun to shoot people and shaving cream to apply on other people. Such as this boy is using his watergun to shoot people. I was taking pictures of him, and he was so wondering what I do. He got so mad at me because I did not stop taking his pictures. So he was approaching me and shoot me with his gun.

Good capture of an unusual expression of a child at play. Yes, he definitely looks unhappy with you! Glad you saved your camera from baptism.

Incidentally, these traditions are also shared by the Thais, with the addition of baby powder applied to the face and body in liberal amounts.
