Photographer’s Note

Jaisalmer, old city, Rajasthan, no far from the Pakistani border, in the Thar desert. A splendid citadel stands in the middle of the city. It's full of small streets, nice temples and old houses made of the golden stones from the desert. This citadel is unfortunately threatened by the growing presence of people and by the development of infrastructures (for tourism as well) and a bad management of wasted waters. All that make it sink slowly. The place is wonderful and is inhabited by elegantly dressed women and men. IMO, an eternal fashion show.
