Photographer’s Note
I was at the Denver Zoo today. This is a new-born giraffe from this past winter. He'll never know freedom but will live a long, protected life. I'm not happy about captive animals. But having traveled a lot to Africa and so many other places where animals are poached and killed for insane purposes, maybe that's not so bad. I used my old Minolta intead of my Canon...it's smaller and the 6.2 MP is fine for simple things.
