Photographer’s Note

At first sight we could have the impression of a winter day in the north Europe. On the contrary this shot was taken in summer in the medirerranean island of Menorca. Another demonstration of the variety of landscapes of this island.
Cap de Favaritx is a very strange place. Differently from most others places in Menorca it is characterized by black stratified rocks of slate that create a very singular atmosphere. I had the fortune of seeing this place in a cloudy afternoon. Black rocks was even more black thanks to the grey sky that tinted with its color also the sea so that I had the impression of already being in a black and white photo...
