The honen Fertility Festival in Komaki City Aich Prefecture held every March 15th rain or shine. It is a celebration for a good harvest.

This is my favorite festival because of all the free sake that is given out during the parade route. At the end of the parade everyone gathers for the throwing of the rice cakes by celebraties. Imagine many drunken folks fights for rice cakes. It is an event that gets violent and more exciting than any schoolboy with a Playboy Magazine.

When I first went to this event back in 2004 there were two huge Phallus along the parade route. This time there was only one phallus. I'm waiting for Obama to tell the fine people of Komaki city that it was all Bush's fault..

Speaking of Bush, the female fertility festival is also held in March in another temple. There is a huge womans vigina made out of rice cake being paraded around town.
