Shot #3 from the series of "on my way from work" :)

Can you guess the original colour of the car(s)? :)

I know that it is already spring, and there is no more such mud on the roads, and there is no more snow in the city, and the sun is shining... and perhaps I should start posting only summer sunny images...

..but I thought to add at least one more photo to the series - just to show what we have to experience every spring here :)

For some people this photo may seem funny; for some - boring; for some - exciting or exotic.

But in any case, I am very glad that right now I will go out to work in much cleaner conditions :)

The photo was taken through the windscreen of the car I was in. the car stopped at the traffic lights, and it was about to move at the green light when I took this shot.

Exposure program: Action Program.
PP work: slight tilt adjustment; very minor levels adjustment; a little of sharpening.

Hello Elena,
Yes spring has arrived in Scotland also, see my daffodils 2 days ago,
I am not looking at the Car in front. I am looking at the two ladies on the right, how top have well covered and the bottom half not so much.
Soon we shall have nice sunny Moscow.

dear Elena,
the significant and important point of this shot is "interval". of course it is not objective distance, but inner reserves.
one bad condition is directly only bad itself, but on our mind screen even bad thing bocomes artistic object image.
the reflection on muddy road shows beautiful taste,
the dirty bodies of the cars also show us tasteful pattern,
and the green and red lamps show us artistic shining like on the stage,
of course even walking troubled people seem joyful in the mud.
this is the magic of photography and our minds.

Hello Elena,
I see the question and I don't have the answer. Do you? To me, this is certainly not exotic. This could perfectly well have been somewhere in Stockholm, maybe Kungsholmen. Same cars, more or less the same architecture and certainly the same kind of weather anywhere between December and March. It is actually quite nice to watch this in mid-April, when I am getting increasingly confident that for the time being we have left this kind of weather behind us.
I was working all through Easter, and between the shifts taking care of my health, so I haven't had much time to spend on TE.

Hello elena. Red, green, blue etc. Each photographer loves the wonderful colors in rain weather. But in your photo also still snow is to be seen. Meanwhile spring displaced the winter. Regards, Wolfgang.

I believe I´ve daid it before, but this is just the kind of picture that makes TE interesting: daily life in all different parts of the world. Not many colours, just the traffic light and the back lights of the car! Quite interesting though to see that dirty, melting snow actually looks the same in Moscow and Gothenburg!

burnt sienna, raw umber, indigo, pale greyand some yellow ochre, could be one answer to your question.
kind of like this streigh on the things description of daily life.

The car is going with the presence lights on whatever adds to the moment the circunstances all the traffic drivers must face. I like lights on in pictures but when these strectch to twisted lines like stripes seems to me so unreal. Both the road and cars became pretty filthy and naturally people must wear appropriate rubber boots. But the lady who is well wrapped up seems to wear elegant shoes. At the left side there is a couple with two prams. they were well comtemplated. The building aside them enlivens the picture by the colours and bleak trees. No counting the babies adult persons visible are four what means it is a good day to stay home. But the courage of the photographer captured a good moment of life. A moment already shared wordly. ( Very good wet sharpness ). Warm regards. Tomi
