Another photo of the anti Israel protest held at the State Library. This sign was ripped down shortly after this photo was taken erupting in a small argument, in what was otherwise a peaceful protest.

A peaceful (???) protest full of hate and signs inciting violence. But the worst is the use and abuse of innocent children carrying signs they do not understand and making them easy human shields. Simply deplorable.

To call it a "peaceful protest", Brendan, now that's a laugh; I guess it was their own wording ? The parents probably never read a history book, particulary the period 1933-1945. A shame for the kids, who deserve better, much better.

A very poignant shot, Brendan. I hate to politicize it, but it is difficult not to. Just looking at this photo shows how low people have gotten, which is sad.

Hello Brendan,

Wow, that is impact for sure. I do understand the emotions in such protest, but also why the sign is ripped off. A pity that such emotions are voiced through the children and not only by the parents themselves. Such strong and often destructive emotions. From both sides.
