Photographer’s Note
St Mary's lighthouse- Reached between the tides via a short causeway, St Mary’s Lighthouse has all the fascination of a miniature, part-time island. The Lighthouse, completed in 1898, on a hazardous coast for shipping, remained operational until 1984 when it was superseded by modern navigational techniques.

Hi Fara,
The picture, though good regarding composition, definitely lacks contrast. The background seems very flat.
Cheers,

Hi Fara. Nice shot, well timed to catch the spray from the waves. The vertical framing suits the subject well. Thanks for sharing.
Have a good weekend, Paul.

Hi,
A fine view. I think the wave fills the width well with a very good exposure all round. I think the workshop is an improvement on the composure, but at the expense of a piece of wave of course.
Maybe just my monitor but I can see faint horizontal banding in the top 1/4 above the clouds?? Thanks,
Dougie.
