Photographer’s Note
on safari in Masai Mara national park southern kenya and northern portion of the serenghetti. On an early ride at sunrise we spotted multiple male lions along the side of a dirt path as the sun rose. They were within 15 feet of my neck (luckily we were in a vehicle). They seemed impartial to our presence and barely noticed us.
Just as I took this photo the other lion from the left entered the frame.
