Zebus oxen (Bos primigenius indicus) are a part of daily Indian rural life.
Here they are pulling a chart with a load of sugar cane.
They have a wooden yoke on the neck to distribute the force of draft across their shoulders.
Zebus typically have a hump on the shoulders, droop ears and large dewlaps (the flaps hanging from the neck).
