Photographer’s Note
The Forbidden City was the Chinese imperial palace from the Ming Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty. It is located in the middle of Beijing and now houses the Palace Museum. For almost five centuries it served as the home of the Emperor and his household, as well as the ceremonial and political centre of Chinese government.
Built from 1406 to 1420, the complex consists of 980 surviving buildings with 8,707 bays of rooms and covers 720,000 square metres. The Forbidden City was declared a World Heritage Site in 1987 and is listed by UNESCO as the largest collection of preserved ancient wooden structures in the world.

Hello Chris,
A fine pov where the repeating and diminishing patterns of the arm-rests, makes a great lead-in to the shot, and gives a good sense of perspective.
Good textural details.
IMO, a crop of the non-descript sky improves the overall 'warmth' and composition of the shot.
Just try it!
Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Really good POV and framed taking full advantage of the diagonal, I just wish it wasnt so quiet. I miss the human element here. just one person would have transformed this. IMO
