Photographer’s Note
It's always a bit tricky when it snows, because you hardly catch the snowflakes the just became sort white dusty spots.
Kattnäs Church 6 km outside Gnesta
Church's oldest part is the choir which was built in the late 1100's.
Around mid-1200's they build the tower
In the 1600s was a high spire built which CRASHED
1856. The church is in contrast to most other churches a very well preserved medieval form.

Hej Anders,
first of all, it's a pity that the very top of the photo is so tightly cropped. I would prefer to see more of the tree above the church spire and less of the bottom (but that's just me personal perception).
I wonder if a vertical composition would be also interesting? But in this case you would have to step farther to include all these objects...
Anyway, to me, as in most cases, this view looks just like another beautiful "illustration" from a story or a fairy-tale. I think this effect is due to the colours and the slight softness of the image.
The red building near the church surely enlivens this snowy greyish scene :)
Kind regards,
Elena

Hej Anders,
A very fine composition! I like the way you have emphezised the red colour of the haouse and the beige colour of the church. Even those red road edge markings (?) are important to the composition. I maight agree with Elena about the too tight crop of the top, but I saw your answer to that. But a very fine picture all the same!

Roads and pyramids, two of the best compositional things you can use. Sucks you right into the picture.

Hej Anders,
it looks almost like a partial desaturation. The red church pops up in the frame together with the church. Well composed as usual. I like it!

Bonjour,
belle photo de cette église au sommet de cette côte, ce batiment rouge ressort bien sur ce sol blanc.
Belle vue d' ensemble, jolies couleurs, bon POV.

Hej Anders,
At first sight I thought this was one of those pictures where everything except one or two items hade been changed to b&w. Then I noticed the very pale colours among the trees and the bushes and realized that a winter day in Sweden can really look that grey and dull. Or did you actually desaturate parts of the picture to make the church and the cottage more obvious?
In any case, a very fine church and a pretty little red and white house. Another one of those slightly nostalgic Swedish rural scenes that is your speciality.

Hi Anders!
What a lovely little church, typically Swedish I would have said! I love these buildings isolated in the countryside! It seems strange to me! I wonder why they built the churches right in the countryside, like the one at Salem by the lake, which I know quite well!
I like your POV here, with the church on top of the hill, the snowy path leading up to it, the graveyard on the slope, and the touch of colour given by the red shed!
TFS and have a good weekend!
Marie Louise.

Hej Anders,
Except for the red plowing stick this could be a Christmas card from some years ago, I think I remember the subject and atmosphere!
Delicate muted winter colours, the red house works as an eye-catcher directing my attention to the church...
Greetings,
Pablo -
