Photographer’s Note
This twin peak is located at the northern entrance to the scenic Lemaire Channel. This is a narrow body of water between the mainland of the Antarctic Peninsula and Booth Island. Midway past the channel is a transquil bay where the scenery is amazing (see the other posting.) This was a glorious sunny day for pictures. The silken clouds was a bonus that made this shot more special.
Picture was taken at 65,1.759S, 63,51.88W.
Picture was taken with a polarising filter.

Hi Conrad, nice to see a photograph from below the globe :>...I like the blue sky with streaks of clouds, the white snow and the bare peaks protruding out of the snow, the details revealed by the sun. Thanks for sharing...Alex

Hey Conrad,
you are indeed lucky to visit Antarctica and envision such a pleasant weather! The composition is excellent, well balanced with the two peaks and saddle in the middle...The silken clouds indeed adds to the overall atmosphere of this shot...
Well done!

Hello Conrad,
A beautiful landscape view from a part of the world very far away. Well composed with the rock at left echoed at the right. Crystal clear and crowned by a fantastic sky.
Regards,
Paul
