'Vienna: To Schönbrunn'

Schoss Schönbrunn is one of the most important cultural monuments in Vienna and of course one of the major tourist attractions.

The garden of the palace has numerous sculptures of different sizes and all made between 1773 and 1780.

On the picture you see one of them with the palace on the background.

Hello Paul,

I happened to have just logged on to TE when this excellent shot from the Schloss Schönbrunn rolled in. It is a scene I remember well. It is an effective composition — featuring one of the statuary at the fountain, and presenting the palace looming in the background.

Eventhough it is a bit tight, it allows a good look at the fine details of the magnificent statue and a small look at the building behind. Nice frame and good sharpness.

Very nicely done exposure and composition on this photo. I like the sneek peek on the palace, with the other horse figuure counter balancing it. It would have been better if you did not cut off the hoof of the horse.

Hello Paul, I like the composition here with the back of this part of the fountain & the monument in the distant BG. The colour, clarity & detail are excellent. I wanted so say a little unusual the view but I just read Silvio's comments.
