Photographer’s Note

To beat the humid evening, citizens of Ho Chi Minh City (formerly known as Saigon) in Vietnam gather around this circle, which exudes a fountain during daytime.

A sure reminder that you're at the city's center, Saigon's version of Central Park offers a wide range of delights, from $2-per-meal eateries to glamorous $50-per-plate gourmet restos. The building to the far left is the historic Rex Hotel, visibly from this cicle, which to the right is Saigon's Tax Center, one of its oldest commercial buildings.
