Photographer’s Note
This photograph was taken in Ségou, where these three kids were at a wedding celebration which took over the entire street. Kung Fu seems to be popular with Malian children, hence the pose! I ended up taken lots of pictures, as they insisted on their Kung Fu moves being captured.
Ségou is a region along the River Niger (Ségou itself is the third largest city in Mali). The ethinc groups of Bambara, Bozo, Soninke, Malinke and Toucouleur all live here. The Bozo people, who founded the city, are/were fishermen by trade.

Nice shot. I like the composition and the offset. The textured wall is a great background.

Bonjour Arif
Well seized : three children, one attitude, but three faces, three expressions.

Ciao Arif,
your shot is a little bit blurred, but the composition and the colors are almost perfect, and it was a point that the kids were moving, so I don't mind about it!
Maybe I would have chosen a less overrunning frame, but it remains a really good capture!

Hi Arif,
nice portrait of these 3 children, full of joy, fun and mischief.
Your note reminds me the children of Lô (south of Burkina-Faso) where I was 2 weeks ago : I made a lot of portraits 'cause they didn't want it to end. It was funny to do that with them. And I also had some kung fu poses.
