Photographer’s Note
6/18 Super fashion
Japan is famous for its amazing street fashion. Sure not all young Japanese wear outlandish street fashion, but there is certainly a dedicated following in large Japanese cities such as Tokyo and Osaka where you can see lots of Japanese Street Fashion.
You’ll easily find Kogals, Ganguros, Lolitas, Gothic Lolitas, Cosplays, Meidos Cafe.... and many more urban tribes than in any other place of the world. And you’ll find modern and futuristic hairdressers and amazing beauty saloons everywhere in all the big cities!
Are all the young Japanese slaves to fashion? I’m sure as in any other countries of the world you can find a lot of different young people, and I don’t believe too much in the stereotypes but I’m sure you were surprised if you would see all the trendy people I saw in a few square km.
I’m sorry for the lack of focus of the subject. I have tried to improve a little bit applying a sharp mask but PS don’t make miracles! Anyway I think this is a interesting picture to share in TE.

never mind for the lack of focus, a photo doesn't have to be always sharp or oversharp for me. It has to give an emotion for example. This one is very interesting because of the background with reminds the jacket of the girl. It has to be posted on TE. Il like it.

I ricard,
There are plenty of pictures in TE about this kind of fashion young people. Yours is interesting because you choose to take the profile of the subject and not the face. This choice associated with the flashy background contributes to give originality. I like all the insciptions : "Beauty is mine", "perfect cutie". We are here in front of a real kitsch dandy Shibuya style.
As you noticed, there's again this lack of focuse. But it's less disturbing here than the one with the salary man.
Have a nice evening.
Olivier.

Hi Ricard,
Interesting shot and notes. Glittery tones like in a toy world. Well done!
