Photographer’s Note
On my first trip to Berchtesgaden I took a regional train from Munich. It was a three and half hour ride. Few passengers that day. This is the head of the coach. You can see the driver and co-driver in front leaving Bad Reichenhall after a long stop.
For travel within Bavaria I had used Bayern-Ticket Single which offers unlimited all day travel on local train and buses. Ticket can be obtained from the automatic ticket machine for 19 euro or the tourist office for 20 euro (2005, 2006 rate). This is the cheapest way to travel within Bavaria. This ticket also offers discount to various regional attractions. For longer distance between cities and countries I had used Euro Rail Select Pass (First Class). For me this is a better option than Euro Rail Pass because I stay longer at each location ... five to seven days. It is based on usage day rather than number of days after activation. This pass is only available to non-European.

Hello Latiff,
Original composition from within the train and bicycle parking. Excellent details and very good light and colors.
Best regards,

Very fine capture of an everday scene. I like the sort of natural frame that is created by the doorway and those symbols on the floor really draw you into the picture. Well spotted and taken.

Hi Latiff,
I see style of trains has changed since my last visit in 2001. This combined luggage and driver's compartment gives a different view from usual. I can imagine myself hanging on that pole envoying forward views. Painting of no-luggage area makes a nice graphic element.

Haha, yes this is nothing like the monorail in KL. Don't think you would be allowed to put a bike in there either! I do like the line here with the 'no bags' 'no bikes' signs on the floor.
Talking about public transport in KL. I never understood why every line has its own ticket system. I'd think that even with different owners, you would sort that one out... ;-)
Greetings!
Dennis
