Photographer’s Note

The shot was taken in the Bazaar ( = market ) of Masouleh . The main handicrafts of this historical village are:
-Some steel tools , a kind of gun ( an old one called Sar Por in Persian ) and knife
-Knitting dolls, socks and gloves
-A kind of loosely- woven carpet named coarse ( = Jajim in Persian ) , short napped coarse carpet ( = Gelim in Persian )
-Some local shoes n slippers

The Bazaar of Masouleh is a live
one, like many old markets in almost all of the old cities and towns of Iran.
