Photographer’s Note
The Ubud Monkey Forest is a small nature preserve south of Ubud City in Bali. Along with its lush surroundings and a temple are more than 400 Balinese macaques. They're very tolerant of people, but are famous for stealing food and sunglasses from tourists.

Whoa! Fantastic photo! I love the dual expressions. Great job managing your depth of field, too. The macaque is in sharp focus; the statue is blurred just enough. Well done.

Hello Janos
Lovely shot, nice perspective with the statue in the background. I love that human expression, although he looks sad...
Good day

Hi Janos --
Amazing analogy and contrary with the note. Main object seems not to be interested in sunglasses or the food. He seems to be the wisest of the family or of the generation. But the secondary object seems to be pretty greedy and will snatch anything from travellers at any moment.
Amazing shot. Excellent POV.
Thanks for sharing.
Cheers

Hello Janos,
A very good capture, right on time. A fine "portrait" with artistic and amusing qualities. From what I remember of those monkeys they tended to get aggressive if they were not given peanuts.
Regards,
Gert
