Photographer’s Note
It's 02:30am where I am now, so it's already Sunday and that calls for another post of a church.
I thought about offering you another radical POV, but as I feared that some of you are already bored of that, I am posting another experimental image and posting the other one as WS2. :D
Why do I call it "experimental"? Because it is another stitch produced with two shots so dissimilar that I wouldn't believe that Hugin would be capable of making the stitch. I was also surprised to see how the final image seems to have been shot from the 2nd floor of a building across the street as that balcony is rather high and I was down on the narrow street when I did the shots.
I didn't find much information about the church, other than it was built in the 12th century (some mentioned 11th century) in Romanesque and Mudéjar styles.
• WS1: The original shots.
• WS2: Another POV, showing the left corner of the balcony that would be visible here with just a slightly wider angle.

Hello Jose.
A very attractive piece of church architecture, well composed with the tower slightly off centre. The light and the shadows are superb, and the sharpness is astounding without being too much. I like the deep blue sky and the combination of the blue and the stone of the church. I was very interested to look at your two original shots; it is a good stitching job from those two distorted pictures. Beautifully done.

Andrew

Hi Jose. That’s an amazing result from the two start photos, what program are you using? Excellent colours and details also. Thanks for sharing.
Have a good Sunday, Paul.

It's astounding how well those heavily distorted initial images have resulted in this wonderful image. In particular, the part of the building close to the right (with two windows)looks completely different. There are some interesting shadows coming in from the left and some attractive and varying light/contrasts on the small pillars. Just a small point, although not too disturbing here, you would have probably had a more even sky without the polariser.
Looking at the time of posting, I only just realised that Portugal is on GMT!

Impressionante, sim senhor! Dá-me vontade de ir à procura desse Hugin.

hello Jose
It is most noticed that your SWA does not give any distortion here, and I find it quite hard to believe that the shot is really as if from the same level of POV. Very nice work of stitch and not showing any flaw that I can see.
The columns with light+shadow effect is the best part of this architecture. Great work.

Hello José,
This is indeed a majestic presentation of the Romanesque church in Segovia. The post processing has been handled flawlessly. With a low sunlight hitting at an oblique angle, the individual building blocks are seen perfectly. When I draw or paint, I always that aspect. The colors and resolution are exquisite. Warm regards, dear José, We in the Washington area are immersed in the Inaugural fever. Saturday night, driving to Washington, DC on the interstate highway (Rt. 95), you cannot imagine how the "crazies," out-of-state drivers who have contracted the Obama fever.

Jose,
superb light management with good contrast between the shadows and fully light exposed areas. The sky provides such a great background and the soft white clouds just enhance the entire view. A real postcard quality, could be in any architectural photography book. Excellent!

Your stitch works going more impressed. You got amazing light especially splendid plays on arches and cylindrical columns. Long shadows on historical facades are wonderful too. Perfect balance and view under clear sky. Have a nice weekend.

Jean-Charles
