Photographer’s Note
Landscapes are a collage of elements, this one taken from a larger colour view. An ice-tombed rock and some ice reflections on the edge of Loch Ba. Thought it looked better in mono. All the while the ice was making great cracking sounds as if it was waking from its freezy slumber!

Hi Dougie,
A good abstract shot showing some great patterns and textures, enhanced by your choice of black and white. Nice.

Hi Dougie,
I like this intimate landscape and I enjoy the black & white version. I usually don't go for B&W but it just works here. I loved the sound of the ice cracking on my latest visit. It reminded me a wee bit of Iceland and Jokulsarlon.
Cheers!

Intriguing landscape indeed, Dougie. An amzingly large number of different textures making a pleasing composition (though I would prefer some of the top cropped off). Great clarity, can almost see the ice cracking.
Keep warm!

Dougie,
Brilliant and exciting abstraction of natural forms, beautifully rendered - right up my street! Cheers.
