Photographer’s Note

Here we have an underground street where people walk at high speed, I had to wait for a moment with less "ghosts".

Montreal's Underground City is also known as the indoor city and is now officially called RÉSO. It is the largest underground complex in the world.
The tunnels and galleries make it possible to connect several residential complexes, shopping malls, universities, luxury residences and hotels, without needing to go outside. The tunnels contain a lot of restaurants and shops. In addition to make it possible to avoid the bad weather of the cold Canadian Winter, the underground grid of Montreal makes it possible to go shopping in the comfort of the indoor city.

The construction of the RÉSO began in Sixties with the construction of the metro. They extended the corridors and tunnels establishing connections with many buildings of the city. Several segments were added after that, until recently. I think they still intend to enlarge it.
