Photographer’s Note
Praying for a hundred rupees is his job. One or two rupees is the local going rate for a Saddhu, Hindu holy man to bless you. BUT of course a rich tourist like me can easily give this man 100 rupees, or about $1.30 in American money. Saddhus are to give up earthly pleasures for a "simple" life of begging. They have found foreigners are simply easy to trick, and even chase them.
