Photographer’s Note

View of a chicked coop in a small village of Pampaneira. I found it about 15 yards up the old house (shown here).

I believe most of these hens and cocks wonder around freely most of the time as some other were seen on streets within the village.

I posted this one mainly because I liked the effect of having raster within a frame.

Robert, you should know by now that family pics are strictly forbidden in TE. Well, it's reassuring to see that these ones, although they see the world behind a cage, still have some cm2 for each one of them to walk around.

I guess you COULD have found a slightly more adapted subject to represent Granada.... ;o)))). It reminds me that I once saw a jazz/fusion concert there with Paco de Lucia and Al Di Meola (the same ones who recorded "Friday Night in St Francisco" with John Maclaughlin also - highly recommended CD). Memorable.

Ok, in hommage to your photograph I won't eat chicken for the next 15 days.

Well seen and well captured "raster" shot you made here, Robert. The metal grid is present enough to be perceived as a pattern, but also thin enough to not intrude too much with the presence of the colorful chicken. Fun symmetrical effect from them all looking into the same direction. Nice shot.
