Tetons In Sunsetting (40)
Yellowstone National Park is America's first national park. Visitors gasp at the incomparable combination of natural beauty, rugged wilderness, majestic peaks, and abundant wildlife. Indescribable geysers, mudpots, fumaroles, and hot springs make this magma-filled pressure cooker of a park unlike any place else on earth. We spent four days in the park, totally enjoyed. Also, we visited Beartooth Highway. This 68-mile stretch is simply, “America’s most beautiful road.” There are numerous alpine lakes and unequaled mountain views on the drive. Grand Teton National Park sits just south of Yellowstone National Park, but the Tetons offer beauty all their own. Another two days, different experiences, we had a close-up, unimpeded view of magnificent jagged peaks of Teton Range. As I am more and more into photography, I am willing to get up early for sunrise and patiently wait for sunset. The effort yielded more colorful pictures from this trip.
