A very good meeting with many Italian and international new friends.
Venice April 4 2009

In order to arrive from Frascati to Treviso we are used the day with an afternoon visit of Verona, then in the evening we are arrived in Treviso for the night. The second day was the day of the meeting in Venice. The third day before to come back to home we have visited in the morning the old town centre of Treviso and along the highway a quick visit of Ferrara, just one hour, we are arrived in Frascati two hours before the earthquake in Abruzzo that we have well heard. Palinuro by Vinicio Tullio (22412) 2007-06-19 - 2007-06-29

Palinuro, pleasant resort on the Cilento coast, rich of hotels and extra facilities, took his name - following the legend - from Ulisse's steersman; it keeps evidence of the greek civilization in the necropolis and ruins of the castle and of the church of S. Giuliano (XII century); in Molpa (a close place) are the rocky stations of Primula Palinuri.

The resort also gives the scientific name to the lobster (Palinurus vulgaris). The trip on the boat, around the promontory, allows to visit a group of natural caves (Azzurra, del Ribalto, Fetente, del Buon Dormire, delle Ossa) with stalactites and walls ... (full story) (19 photos)

The gardens of Vizille castle offer hundred hectares of greenery. You will be able to stroll along a splendid water level and many channels, to discover the rosery of the garden "à la française" who is next to the castle, and to fill with wonder in front of the many species of animals which live there in a complete freedom. Swans, barnacles, ducks mallards, martins fishing, will hérons ashy play about around the ponds, whereas stags, deer and roe-deers traverse in all quietude the paths of the park. Trouts and carps live in the limpid water of the channels supplied with four sources. (6 photos)
